New World Trade Center station

being built in the Big Apple

They’ll call it the Fulton Street Transit Center, but what it really is is the new World Trade Center subway station.

International architecture firm Grimshaw is creating the transit center for New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which features a glass and steel dome that will admit natural light and reflect it as far underground as the A, C, and 4, 5 platforms. It will also address long-standing obstacles to better access in the area.
