Daily southbound Amtrak train No. 97, the Silver Meteor, whips through Green Cove Springs, Fla., in December over CSX’s A Line at track speed – 79 mph. It is about to cross Governor's Creek bridge enroute to Miami. It left Jacksonville a little almost an-hour earlier, and its next stop will be in Palatka.
