4,300 horsepower CSX engines 4713 and 4793, both SD-70MACs, and companion 8234, an EMD SD-40-2, were the first three of 140 CSX engines to arrive this year for repairs and modifications at Reliable Rail Services in Green Cove Springs, Fla. CSX brought them down from Jacksonville the week of January 16. The 8200s can be either 3,000 or 3,200 hp., depending on how they’ve been configured.
